FreshControl TMR – New!

With the heaps open, in hot weather or when the feed has been sitting for a long time – the TMR takes on a life of its own. Fungi, yeast, heat, mycotoxins… and then drops in intake, metabolic stress and a drop in milk yield.

Why is it worth it?

• Higher feed intake – cows do not retreat from overheated, unstable mixes

The TMR remains fresh, cool and safe throughout the feeding cycle – even at high ambient temperatures. Cows eat more readily, and you have control over what actually goes into the rumen.

What will you find inside?

A modern combination of ingredients that work synergistically:

• Sodium chloride and monocalcium phosphate – supports mineral balance
• Clinoptilolite – a natural mineral that aids in toxin binding and microflora stability
• Organic acids and their salts – e.g. formic acid, sodium benzoate, propionic acid, potassium sorbate – inhibit the growth of the micro-organisms responsible for secondary fermentation
• Silicic acid and citric acid – support the physical stability of the mixture
• Flavourings – improve palatability and feed acceptance

Method of use:

• TMR: 1-2 kg per tonne of finished feed
• As a sprinkling on the silo: 1-2 kg/m² surface area
  Thorough mixing with feed prior to application recommended.
