Buffers

It is a biologically active mixture recommended for use in conditions of rumen acidosis.

 

With acidosis, the population of cellulolytic (fiber-digesting) bacteria in the rumen decreases significantly, and the production of B vitamins is impaired at the same time. Killacid provides live yeast cultures, making the rumen environment more conducive to the life of the delicate cellulolytic bacteria. At the same time, rumen content buffers and essential B vitamins are provided. Killacid is used both therapeutically, in rumen acidosis, and prophylactically in starch-rich rations.

The blend contains live yeast cultures, buffers and B vitamins to promote pH balance in the rumen.
