Silages make up the largest share of the ration of high-yielding dairy cows, at the same time they are the cheapest feeds necessary for nutrition. It is worth making effective use of them and using specialized additives for ensiling – bacterial inoculants.

It’s the optimal solution for a wholesome roughage. Tasty silage is preserved with bacterial inoculants: Sil-Agri, Sil-Agro Max.

Recommended for ensiling alfalfa and other legumes and whole grain plants (GPS) 1 sachet of 70 g is sufficient for ensiling 50 t of fresh matter.

Pediococcus pentosaceus 12,455 at 100,000CFU/g* – drives initial fermentation. ensuring good ensiling and well-preserved silage with maximum feed value. It quickly lowers the pH to a stable value and preserves the maximum feed value of the silage.

Lactobacillus buchneriCNCM 1-4 323 200,000 CFU/g* – improves aerobic stability. Reduces silage spoilage and the emergence of yeasts responsible for silage heating and alcohol production. Reduces energy loss and molding of silage.

The enzymes beta-glucanase 39199 at 5821 IU/g* and xylanase 39 203 at 6,444 IU/g*- allow access to the interior of the plants to release sugar from them and ensure better fermentation.

Result: Ineffective preservation resulted in the proliferation of wild yeast in the first phase of ensiling, less aerobically stable silage and greater susceptibility to overheating.
