Test results
An experiment was conducted at the University of Delawware, USA by L. Kung and colleagues.
- Alfalfa silage ensiled without preservatives was compared with silage ensiled with Sil-Agro at a rate of 1 sachet per 50 tons of alfalfa.
- Alfalfa for both heaps was harvested on one day, with a dry matter content of 43%

The study showed that alfalfa silage ensiled with the formulation improved milk yield by 1.1 kg per day and improved fat and protein levels in milk.
