What is Rumba Active really?

Rumba Active consists of a high concentration of live yeast cultures and mannan oligosaccharides. It also contains phytogenic additives to improve the functioning of the rumen microflora by modifying the bacterial flora in a positive direction. All of this is served on high-quality soy protein for the highest bioavailability of each ingredient in the product.

The unique composition of active substances contained in Rumba Active, extracted from oregano, clove, cinnamon and chili, enhances the secretion of saliva, digestive juices and enzymes. It improves the buffering function, palatability and digestibility of the fiber.

The highest concentration of live yeast cultures restores the pH of the rumen fluid to an optimal level of 6.2 to allow the rumen to function properly, for full microbial protein production and the highest possible daily milk production.

Selected yeast strains used in Rumba Active support high microbial protein production resulting in high protein parameters in milk produced by animals. The oligosaccharides of mannan used in Rumba Active support the body’s immune processes as well as enhancing the immunoglobulins in colostrum.

To avoid nutritional deficiencies in situations of oxidative stress, including during disease, it is important to increase feed intake by stimulating the animals’ olfactory and gustatory senses. Rumba Active increases dry matter (DM) intake by about 4% per day, which has a direct bearing on increased milk yield in situations where not only high daily temperatures occur, but also reduced DM intake in freshly calved animals or those with health problems.

The antimicrobial effect of some spice-derived extracts has been scientifically demonstrated by in vitro and in vivo studies.

Carvacrol from oregano and cinnamaldehyde from cinnamon bark improve blood parameters, thus increasing the immunity of dairy cattle, strengthening the animal’s defense mechanisms. RumBa Active is a high metabolic efficiency of the rumen – which increases milk yield which directly increases milk production, improves BCS (Body Condition Score).

Capsaicin from chilies, cinnamaldehyde and eugenol from cloves are potent anti-inflammatory agents, reducing the risk of heat stress while reducing free radicals – carcinogens.
