Purpose of the variety (whole-crop silage, grain).

It is worth taking into account the specifics of the farm. E.g., a farmer, with an adequate supply of roughage, can successfully increase the acreage of corn for grain harvesting.
On the other hand, when there is a shortage of corn silage during holiday periods, a variety with high growth potential should be selected to harvest as much material as possible.
